Lil City Voices | Community Corner

One Person's Clutter, Another's Treasure

by Leo C.

Sometimes, a powerful idea starts with a simple question: "How can I help?" That's the spirit behind a new local effort that has quickly gained support from neighbors online. A community member, Katalynna Vang, is launching a small nonprofit called Co Resources to provide free clothing to people in our area.

The request for gently used donations of all sizes has struck a chord. In just a few days, the post has led to dozens of offers, from bags of kids' clothes to entire wardrobes cleared out for a good cause.

The organizer is even offering porch pick-ups to make donating easy. While the effort is just beginning, the immediate, generous response shows a clear desire to support one another with simple, practical help.

It's a reminder that small acts of giving, when shared by many, can weave a stronger safety net for everyone. If you have clothes you no longer need, this could be a meaningful way to ensure they find a new purpose right here in our community.
